Please help me to pray

Lord please help me, today me and my family went to church, but honestly I think my ### has a mental issue, she's started to yell my ### and my ### she has a bad temper but also my ### my ### is not too close to the Lord, and they got into a huge verbal fight, she gets jealous when my ### shares with his parents, and also she is very proud, I'm totally disappointed in her behavior she doesn't want to hear anyone and she was cursing at my ### and my ### she always treated that she's tired and wanted to end a marriage for about ### years but honestly she's not being touched by the Lord she's just religious and gave my ### and ### a bad testimony, I think she's acting like bipolar or borderline, but also we can say that she doesn't allow the Holy Spirit to change her because she wants to have all the control. Please help me Lord because it feels awful to be in the midst of it and in two days will be my ###'s birthday. I ask for mercy and also for the behavior of each one of them. My ### demands what she can't give. And also one of my ### is turning on the wrong path with his own family, Lord touch those stone hearts, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray amen.

Firstly, let us address the importance of our behavior when we are believers in Jesus Christ. We need to be in Jesus Christ to go to God, the Father. There is no other way.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We understand that you think a family member might have a mental issue. It is important to remember that God calls us to love and support one another, even in challenging situations. We should pray for wisdom and guidance in handling this situation.

Colossians 3:12-15 Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

You mentioned that there is a lack of closeness to the Lord and a bad temper. It's crucial to encourage each other to grow in faith and to manage anger in a godly way.

Ephesians 4:26-27 Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.

Jealousy and pride are also concerns. These are issues that God warns against, as they can cause division and strife.

Proverbs 6:34 For jealousy arouses the husband's fury, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Regarding your concern about the desire to end the marriage, it's important to remember that God takes marriage seriously and intends for it to be a lifelong commitment.

Matthew 19:6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.

If someone is not allowing the Holy Spirit to work in their life, pray for a softening of their heart and a willingness to submit to God's will.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.

Finally, remember that God can change even the hardest of hearts. Let's pray for your family, especially as a birthday approaches.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family in their time of need. We pray for healing, wisdom, and guidance. Soften the hearts of each family member, and draw them closer to You. Help them to manage their anger, overcome jealousy and pride, and to be receptive to the Holy Spirit's work in their lives. We pray for unity, understanding, and Your divine intervention in their marriage and family dynamics. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to remind you that God sees your family, and He cares deeply about each one of you. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is working in your family, even when you can't see it.

As you've mentioned, there are some challenging behaviors and attitudes that need change. We're praying for hearts to be softened and for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully. In 2 Corinthians 3:18, we're reminded that "we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another."

Lastly, as your family member's birthday approaches, we're praying that this would be a turning point, a time when God's grace and mercy would be evident and transformative. In Lamentations 3:22-23, we find this promise: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
