If this person is a potential spouse, then it is important they are also a Christian Believer. If this relationship is romantic and you are not married to this person, it is also important to make sure the relationship remains pure and focused on God. If you are dating and having sex, then this is called fornication and it is a sin as outlined in Mark 7:20-23. If this person is already married to someone else, then having a romantic relationship with them is called adultery and that is a sin as outlined in Mark 7:20-23. If this person is of the same sex, then this relationship is called homosexuality and that is also a sin as outlined in Mark 7:20-23.

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who desires to see someone they care about. First, we ask for your guidance in this relationship. Please help this person to see clearly not just see the one they care about.
