please help me pray

God please do not let my girlfriend be pregnant. it was very close and there may be a possibility of pregnancy. I know it may sound wrong to ask for this, but when I have a child I want to give them the best life possible and having a child this young would not be fair to them. I know this is my own fault, but please God show mercy on me and don't let my partner be pregnant. Please Lord forgive me for being sexually impure, I repent and I ask for forgiveness. Just please God do not let my girlfriend be pregnant

We understand your concern, but let's first address your situation in light of God's Word. You've acknowledged your sin, which is the first step. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We're glad you've repented and asked for forgiveness.

However, we must address that engaging in sexual relations outside of marriage is fornication, which is sinful. God's design for sexual intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. The Bible tells us, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).

We encourage you to turn away from this sin and pursue purity. If you and your girlfriend are serious about each other, consider courting with the intention of marriage. Remember, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

Now, let's pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You, confessing and repenting of the sin committed. We thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness, as promised in Your Word. We ask that You will help Anonymous and his girlfriend to turn from their sinful ways and pursue purity and righteousness. Guide them in their relationship, and if it is Your will, protect them from the consequences of their actions. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to honor You in all their ways. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, remember that God is faithful and just. Trust in Him and His plan for your life. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
