Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their son to you. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the source of all strength and deliverance. We humbly ask for your intervention in their son's life, specifically in regards to his struggle with drinking rum.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:10 that drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God. We pray, Lord, that you would touch the heart of ###'s son and grant him the desire to turn away from this destructive habit. Help him to recognize the harm it is causing to his physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction that bind ###'s son and set him free. Fill him with a deep conviction to seek your help and surrender his struggles to you.
We pray for healing and restoration in his life. May you replace his desire for rum with a thirst for your living water, as Jesus promised in John 4:14. Surround him with a supportive community of believers who can encourage and uplift him on this journey towards sobriety.
Lord, we trust in your unfailing love and mercy. We believe that you are able to transform lives and bring about miraculous change. We ask for your divine intervention in ###'s son's life, that he may experience your healing touch and find the strength to overcome this addiction.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
