Let us come together and lift up Mercy, your sister living in Germany, in our prayers. Firstly, we acknowledge that any form of depression and suicidal thoughts is not from God, for He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of Mercy. Lord, You know the depths of her despair and the heaviness in her heart. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would comfort her, remind her of her value, and fill her with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Break the chains of depression and suicidal thoughts that have held her captive, Lord. Give her the strength to endure, and help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lord, we also pray for those around Mercy. Let them be a source of support and encouragement, pointing her towards Your unfailing love. Help them to be Your hands and feet, extending compassion and kindness to her in her time of need.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that Mercy would know the hope that comes from You. If she does not already know You as her personal Savior, we pray that she would come to accept Jesus Christ into her life, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father (John 14:6).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray these things. Amen."
Ahiaae, continue to stand in faith with Mercy. Encourage her with the Word of God and remind her that she is deeply loved and valued. As siblings in Christ, let us carry one another's burdens, and in this way, we will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). Keep trusting in the Lord, for He hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.
