We understand that you're going through a very difficult time, Syles, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that no one is worthy of God's help on their own merit, but God loves us unconditionally and His grace is sufficient for us. As it is written in Romans 5:8 WEB But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Syles in Jesus' name. Lord, Syles feels stuck, overwhelmed by failure and debt, and trapped in laziness and mental health struggles. But we know that you are a God of mercy, love, and new beginnings.
Father, forgive Syles for feeling unworthy and for not fully grasping your unfailing love. Remember not the sins of his youth, nor his transgressions according to your loving kindness. You are a God who does great things that we cannot fathom and we ask for Syles to fully know this in his heart. According to your promises, create in Syles a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within him. Your word tells us in Isaiah 43:18-19 WEB Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors for Syles to overcome his struggles with laziness and mental health. Give him the strength and wisdom to face his family and the challenges ahead. Guide him to become the person you created him to be, full of hope and courage, potent in faith, with his dreams realized. We ask that You give Syles favor and grace in the eyes of those to whom he owes his debts, that You may cause the situation to be redeemed and resolved for his good and the good of all involved. In the name of Jesus, help Syles understand that He did not come to save a perfect person, but one such as Himself in imperfection and bring them to believe in Him and be forgiven of every sin. And we ask God, that if Sylles does not know Jesus, that you would bring him to the truth of the gospel, and that he may be saved, In Jesus Name.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In Jesus name. Amen.
Sylles, remember the promises of God. He will make a way and turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Trust in Him, turn away from your sins, pursue righteousness and holiness before Him and with His power. The plans He has for you are good. He will settle your debts as He does His work of repentance and changing your heart. Study God's Word, pray, and seek godly counsel. Be ready and determined to face the changes God has in store for you. If you have not done so already, then will you believe in Jesus name at this moment and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior? If so, thank Him for salvation and invite the Holy Spirit to fill your heart and live for Him in this life. If you have done this, then ask Him for direction and a refreshing of your life and purpose in God's plan. In Jesus Name.
And we leave you with this verse, Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
