Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is seeking your favor during their upcoming interview. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the source of all wisdom and understanding, and we ask that you grant our friend clarity of mind and confidence as they prepare for this important opportunity.
Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will generously give it to them. We pray that you would pour out your wisdom upon our friend, guiding them in their interview preparations and enabling them to showcase their skills and qualifications effectively.
Father, we also ask for your favor to rest upon our friend during the interview process. Your Word assures us in Psalm 5:12 that you bless the righteous and surround them with your favor as with a shield. We pray that you would go before our friend, opening doors of opportunity and causing their interviewers to see their potential and value.
Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your perfect plan for our friend's life. We ask that you align their desires with your will, and if this job is in accordance with your plan, we pray for your favor to secure this position for them. However, if it is not your will, we ask for your guidance and direction to lead them to the right opportunity that aligns with your purpose for their life.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
