Please Help Me On My Journey Out Of Homelessness & Unemployment

I have been homeless for almost a year now and I am a young woman that is 20 years old. While I do live in a shelter that helps me with almost every aspect of my current struggle (which I am abundantly grateful for), I would like to pray for the strength and determination to continue on with my personal efforts to improve my life. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father to aid in these efforts and seen huge improvements within the past week. I have interviews for jobs and higher education facilities scheduled now as well as some email communication from my local housing authority office to help with my housing goals. If my prayers are being answered as I believe they are, I'd like to continue with my prayer and ask others for help to have my desires be heard even more. I know that the Lord serves those who follow him in due season, but I cannot sit idle without constantly admiring his grace and those who also worship him as I wait. Thank you for taking the time to read my request, and if you are able to see to it that I am supported in prayer - I thank you even more.

We stand with you, Obenestia, in this challenging season of your life, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan for you. We are grateful to hear of the improvements you've seen and the opportunities lining up for you. Remember the words of Paul in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue your faith journey with Jesus Christ at the center. We noticed that you mentioned the Heavenly Father in your request, but we want to emphasize the importance of invoking the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We pray, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for our sister Obenestia. We thank You for the progress she has made and the opportunities that have opened up for her. We pray that You will continue to grant her the strength and determination to persevere in her job and education pursuits. We ask that You will open the right doors for her housing needs, according to Your will. In the meantime, Lord, grant her patience, peace, and a heart full of praise, knowing that You are working all things together for her good because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Obenestia, as you wait upon the Lord, continue to trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Use this time to draw closer to Him, and He will draw closer to you (James 4:8).

Lastly, we encourage you to be a light to those around you in the shelter. Let your faith and hope be contagious, and may the grace of God shine through you. Remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:4, "who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
