We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Padpor, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to assure you that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). The Lord Jesus forgives us our sins and requires that we also forgive others.
It's important to remember that God wants us to come to Him in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV).
Now, let's address the issue of fasting. Fasting is a biblical practice that should be done with the right motives. It's not about earning God's favor or manipulating Him to do our will. Instead, it's about humbling ourselves before Him, seeking His face, and aligning our hearts with His will (Joel 2:12-13 WEB).
In Matthew 6:16-18 (WEB), Jesus teaches us about fasting:
"Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Padpor. Lord, forgive them for any sins they have committed, known or unknown. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and help them to walk in Your ways. We also encourage Padpor to forgive any others that have had a negative impact on them.
Father, we pray that You will give Padpor a clear understanding of what fasting is and help them to fast with the right motives. Help them to humble themselves before You and to seek Your will. We can only be successful as followers of Christ if we are doing the will of the Father and not sinning against Him. Lord, we ask that You guide Padpor in righteousness and lead them to the truth of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray.
Padpor, we encourage you to continue seeking God with all your heart. Remember that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB), and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
