Dexterkoh, we understand that you're facing a challenging situation at work, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
It's important to approach this situation with honesty and integrity. If you feel that you've been given tasks outside of your job scope, it's crucial to communicate this respectfully to your manager. As it says in Matthew 5:37 WEB, But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
However, we also want to address that your request did not mention Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible is very clear about this:
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:6-11 WEB
So, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dexterkoh. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing at work. We pray for your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help them communicate effectively with their manager about their job scope and their desire to keep their job and meet their financial needs in a way that pleases God.
We pray that if it's your will, they would be able to retain their job or be reassigned to a project more suited to their skills. We also pray that through this situation, Dexterkoh would draw closer to you, seeking your face and your guidance.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who took our sins upon Himself and gave us access to the Father. We ask that you reveal Jesus to Dexterkoh if they do not know Him and ask that we all (Dexterkoh and us) draw closer to Jesus.
Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and he will not abandon you. Trust in him, and he will guide you through this challenging time. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28, WEB,
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
