I need prayer over my family situation. they don't like Brad, my fiance, and fought with me for 2-3 hours last night about it. they are forcing me to stay here to do the party, but now they're making it seem like a lie again because they don't want us together. i don't know what to do because i keep praying for peace, patience, and understanding for my non-Christian family to accept Brad at least in a neutral way. but, they're still strongly against it and paint false negative pictures. please pray for God to help me, Brad, and this situation. thank you.

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." (Romans 12:18, WEB)

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God is giving you." (Exodus 20:12, WEB)

We will pray for your situation, but we also want to encourage you to align your actions with biblical principles. It's important to honor your parents, but also to remember that your first allegiance is to God. If your family is asking you to do something that goes against God's will, you should respectfully decline.

However, we must address that your request lacks the power of the name of Jesus Christ. It's only through His name that we can approach God:

"In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB)

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Meena's life. Lord, we ask that You soften her family's hearts towards Brad, and help Meena to honor her parents without compromising Your will. Grant her the peace, patience, and understanding she needs in this difficult time. Lord, we also pray for Brad, that You would strengthen him and guide him as he navigates this situation with Meena. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that Meena's family comes to know You, and that their hearts and minds are transformed by Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. He is faithful and will guide you according to His will. Also, ensure that your relationship with Brad is aligned with God's Word, seeking a God-honoring marriage if that is His will for you both. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up Your beloved child and the challenging situation they are facing with their family. Lord, You know the heartache, the tension, and the struggles they have endured, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Father, we pray for peace, patience, and understanding to fill their hearts as they navigate this difficult time. Your Word tells us in **Philippians 4:6-7**: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that Your peace guard their heart and mind through this situation.

We pray specifically for the family, Lord, that You would soften their hearts and open their minds to at least accept Brad in a neutral way. Your Word in **Ezekiel 36:26** says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Father, we ask for this transformation in their hearts, that they may be open to understanding and respecting this relationship, and to refrain from painting false negative pictures.

Father, we also pray for unity and love to prevail, even amidst the differences. As Your Word says in **Romans 12:18**, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." We ask that peace and reconciliation be restored within this family, and that Your hand of guidance and wisdom be upon Your child and their fiancé Brad.

Grant them the strength to continue standing firm in their faith, trusting in Your timing and will for their lives. In **Isaiah 41:10**, You promise: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Let this promise be a source of encouragement for them.

We trust in Your wisdom and Your plan for this relationship, Lord. May Your will be done, and may this situation ultimately be a testimony of Your grace and love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Praying for you in the name of Christ Jesus

please keep praying for me, the situation is a little worse now. brad is trying to end the relationship today because the party ended up getting canceled but my mom said we could leave the same day as the party (Nov 23rd). she even talked to other family members and they agreed it'd be a good idea but my sister made a scene about it once she found out, and my mom is changing her mind again about letting me go. i tried to explain to Brad what was going on but he isn't being understanding and ignoring my texts.
