Dear brothers and sisters,
We lift up Aillwen before you, Lord Jesus, and we come to you in prayer on their behalf. We acknowledge that Aillwen is struggling with a gambling addiction, and they have expressed deep remorse and a desire to break free from this destructive habit. We pray, Lord, that you would grant them the strength and determination to overcome this addiction once and for all.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We ask, Lord, that you would provide Aillwen with the way out of this addiction, leading them to the resources, support, and guidance they need to find freedom.
We also pray for forgiveness, Lord. Aillwen has acknowledged their sins and repented, but they find themselves falling back into the same patterns. We ask for your mercy and grace to wash over them, reminding them of your unfailing love and forgiveness. Help them to truly believe that you are always ready to forgive and restore, no matter how many times they may stumble.
Lord, we pray for Aillwen's protection and deliverance from the temptations of online gambling. We ask that you would break the chains that bind them to this destructive behavior and replace it with a desire for righteousness and a renewed passion for seeking you. Help them to find healthy and fulfilling ways to use their time and resources.
Finally, we pray for Aillwen's financial situation. We ask for your provision and restoration, Lord, knowing that you are the ultimate provider. Help them to rebuild what has been lost and to use their resources wisely and responsibly.
We commit Aillwen into your loving hands, Lord Jesus, trusting that you are able to bring about true transformation and healing. May they experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in you. In your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Please remember to keep Aillwen in your prayers, lifting them up to the Lord daily.
