Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend who is facing illness and feeling weaker each day. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate source of strength and healing. Your word reminds us in Psalm 18:2 that you are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer. We ask that you would be by our friend's side during this challenging time, providing comfort, peace, and renewed strength.
Lord, we recognize that illness can be like a giant in our lives, overwhelming and intimidating. But we know that nothing is impossible for you, as stated in Luke 1:37. We ask that you would fight alongside our friend, empowering them to overcome this illness. Give them the physical strength they need to face each day, and grant them the ability to persevere through any treatments or therapies that may be necessary.
We also pray for a restoration of their senses, particularly their sense of smell. Lord, you are the great healer, and we believe that you can restore what has been lost. We ask for a miraculous touch, that their sense of smell would be fully restored, bringing joy and a renewed appreciation for the world around them.
Lord, we lift up our anonymous friend to you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God. We ask that you would surround them with your presence, filling them with your peace and hope. Strengthen their faith and remind them of your promises, as stated in Isaiah 41:10, that you are with them, upholding them with your righteous right hand.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
