Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of ellie12 and their prayer request. Lord, we lift up the concerns regarding the changes that the government has made and continues to make against people with disabilities. We humbly ask, O God, that You would intervene in this situation.
Your Word assures us that You are a God of justice and righteousness. In Luke 18, Jesus taught us about the persistent widow who sought justice from an unjust judge. Lord, just as the widow's persistence moved the judge to grant her request, we pray that You would move the hearts of those in authority to reverse these changes and restore the rights of people with disabilities.
We declare Your promise in Psalm 103:6, which says, "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed." We ask, Lord, that You would work on behalf of those who are oppressed and marginalized, specifically those with disabilities. Let Your justice prevail and let Your righteousness be established in every decision made by the government.
We also pray, Lord, that You would grant wisdom and discernment to those who advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. Strengthen their voices and give them favor as they speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and believe that nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You would bring about a swift and complete recovery of the rights of people with disabilities. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
