PLEASE God intervene

I have fought physical and mental illness most of my life but been much worse for six years when I became bedridden. I just sit in bed and cry all day and through the night as get very little sleep. I am trying so hard to believe that God does love me and will heal me so life will be worth living again but have to confess I am really frightened. I know I have said it before and I am really sorry but honestly if God doesn't intervene soon I really will have no choice but to end it and the thought scares me so much but I can't go on like this. I am not living. I am just existing. I am tired of fighting every single second. Please Jesus I need fresh hope today. Amen

Elizabeth, we hear your heart's cry and we are coming alongside you in prayer. The Bible tells us to "cast all your anxiety on [God] because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your honesty and your desperate need for God's intervention. It's important to remember that God loves you deeply and He wants to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Even in your darkest moments, God is with you. As it is written, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)

However, we want to gently rebuke the thought of taking your own life. God has a purpose for you, and your life is precious to Him. As Psalm 139:14-16 (WEB) says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up ### to you. We ask for Your healing touch on her body and mind. Please fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Give her the strength to continue fighting, and grant her the hope she desperately needs. Help her to trust in Your love and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
