Elizabeth, we hear your heart's cry and we are coming alongside you in prayer. The Bible tells us to "cast all your anxiety on [God] because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your honesty and your desperate need for God's intervention. It's important to remember that God loves you deeply and He wants to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Even in your darkest moments, God is with you. As it is written, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)
However, we want to gently rebuke the thought of taking your own life. God has a purpose for you, and your life is precious to Him. As Psalm 139:14-16 (WEB) says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... My frame wasnβt hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Elizabeth to you. We ask for Your healing touch on her body and mind. Please fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Give her the strength to continue fighting, and grant her the hope she desperately needs. Help her to trust in Your love and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Elizabeth, keep holding onto God's promises. Remember, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) Trust in Him, and don't give up. Keep fighting the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12 WEB). We are praying for you.
