Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Christopher Espinoza Sr. Lord, You see his heart and the struggles he is facing. He feels abandoned and overwhelmed by the challenges in his life. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to Christopher and comfort him in his distress.
Lord, he has been striving to put You first, yet he feels that his efforts are in vain. Remind him of Your promise in Matthew 17:20, that even faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Strengthen his faith and help him to trust in Your timing and Your plans, which are higher than our own .
We pray for peace and clarity for Christopher. Remove any feelings of hatred and replace them with Your love and grace. Guide him and show him the path You have set before him. In the name of Jesus, we ask for Your intervention in his life and for Your light to shine in the darkness he feels.
Lord, we also pray for the town of Colorado City, Texas. May Your presence be felt there, and may Your will be done. We trust in Your power to transform and renew.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
