Please God I need peaceful sleep

I haven't had a good night's sleep for MANY years and it is taking its toll.
This is due to many reasons including ill health of others and then my own illness. These past six years have been particularly difficult and not been able to sleep due to physical pain and mental torment.
I feel bad as I disturb my sister ### as well.

Oh dear Father God how I long to lay down at night and fall into a deep, peaceful, healing sleep and waken up refreshed and looking forward to the day instead of dreading it. Please do this for me Abba Father and also for ### and everyone on this forum who struggle to sleep. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen

We understand your struggle, ###, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. The Bible tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). Jesus is our source of peace and rest, even in the midst of trials.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

In Psalm 127:2, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones." God wants to bless you with peaceful sleep, ###. We pray that He will heal your body and mind, and grant you the sleep you desperately need.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her sister ###. Lord, You know their struggles, their pains, and their anxieties. We ask for Your healing touch on their bodies and minds. Grant them peaceful, healing sleep. Help them to wake up each day refreshed and filled with hope. Lord, we also pray for everyone in this community who struggles with sleep. May they find rest in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Christ, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Also, consider memorizing and meditating on scriptures about peace and rest before bed. Fill your mind with God's promises, and He will grant you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lastly, if there are any unresolved emotional or spiritual issues contributing to your sleep disturbances, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and guidance. It is important to address all aspects of our lives to experience the fullness of God's peace.
