We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles that your family is facing. Let's stand together on the promises of God, knowing that "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how would He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32, WEB).
First, we want to encourage you to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
As we pray for your family, please, remember that the Lord is our shepherd and "I shall not want." (Psalms 23:1, WEB). This is a promise that we can cling to in times of need.
We must also remember that the Lord requires us to be faithful in our tithing, as we read in Malachi 3:10 (WEB), "'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord of Hosts, 'and see if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.'" And in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (WEB), "Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your financial intervention. We ask, Lord, that You soften the hearts of those who have frozen their finances and that You provide a way for this family to keep their home. Help them to seek You first and Your righteousness that all these things may be added to them.
Lord, we also pray that this family is faithful in their tithing, that they may experience the blessings that only You can pour out.
We also pray that they know you more and are in a relationship with you Lord. We pray that you reveal yourself to them and draw them into a more deep and abiding relationship with you.
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things. Amen.
We also mention that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we pray in Jesus' name.
