Thankyou so much for this beautiful prayer! God bless! We're here with you, Aellyr, and we want you to know that we're holding you up in prayer. We understand that depression and torment can feel overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's hard to bear alone. But remember, in Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is there for you, ready to lift that burden.
We've been reminded of the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19. After facing great trials, Elijah was exhausted and discouraged. But God didn't leave him. Instead, He provided rest and reassurance. God is doing the same for you, Aellyr. He sees your tears, He hears your cries. He's right there with you.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up Aellyr. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, comfort them, and remind them of Your unfailing love. We pray that Aellyr will find hope and peace in You, Jesus. If they haven't already, we pray that they will accept You as their Lord and Savior. We rebuke any spirits of depression and torment, and we ask that You fill Aellyr with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep looking to Jesus, Aellyr. He's your hope, your strength, and your peace.
Thankyou so much for this beautiful prayer! God bless!I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Thankyou for this most beautiful prayer and yes, I do accept Jesus as my personal savior! I very much long to be with him and live in peace! Thanks once again! We are deeply moved by your cry for help, Aellyr. We hear your heartache and your longing to be with God. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for you.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, confessing His lordship and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aellyr who is going through a storm right now. Lord, you know the depth of their despair and torment. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength in this time of trouble. Comfort them with Your love and bring them into the safety of Your arms. Give them hope and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aellyr, we encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). Trust in Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
In times of depression and torment, it's also important to seek help from God's community. Share your struggles with a trusted Christian friend, mentor, or counselor. Remind yourself of God's promises and truths. Here are a few to meditate on:
- "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5, WEB)
- "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28, WEB)
- "Cast all your anxiety on [God], because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7, WEB)
