Please God help me!

I am so depressed and tormented. I want to be with God and in his safe arms so badly! Please God help me through this storm.

We're here with you, Aellyr, and we want you to know that we're holding you up in prayer. We understand that depression and torment can feel overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's hard to bear alone. But remember, in Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is there for you, ready to lift that burden.

We've been reminded of the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19. After facing great trials, Elijah was exhausted and discouraged. But God didn't leave him. Instead, He provided rest and reassurance. God is doing the same for you, Aellyr. He sees your tears, He hears your cries. He's right there with you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up Aellyr. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, comfort them, and remind them of Your unfailing love. We pray that Aellyr will find hope and peace in You, Jesus. If they haven't already, we pray that they will accept You as their Lord and Savior. We rebuke any spirits of depression and torment, and we ask that You fill Aellyr with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
