We are here with you, Elizabeth, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggle. First, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need, and we join you in praying in Jesus' name.
In your pain, you've asked God for mercy, and we want to assure you that His mercies are new every morning. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
You've mentioned that you're feeling afraid and that you're struggling to trust God. Know that He understands your fears and wants to help you overcome them. As the Psalmist says, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I have put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?" (Psalm 56:3-4).
We want to address your feelings of hopelessness and your thoughts of ending your life. Elizabeth, your life is precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Suicide is never the solution, and it's important to remember that God is always with you, even in your darkest moments.
Regarding your medication, it's crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We encourage you to seek professional help and trust that God can guide them in providing you with the care you need.
Lastly, you've expressed concern for Margaret, We encourage you to seek support from her, and your loved ones during this time. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Elizabeth. Lord, in Your mercy, please help her in her time of need. Comfort her and guide her through this challenging time. Give her the strength to endure and the courage to trust in You. Lord, we ask that You guide her medical professionals in providing the care she needs, and that You bring healing and relief from her pain. Lord, please also provide comfort and strength to Margaret and all of Elizabeth's loved ones during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. God Bless You.
