Disciple of Prayer
It seems like I'm always getting myself into trouble with the law. This time I didn't think I did anything wrong. The sperm donor of my son left his phone in my car, I went through the phone to try to find a neighbor to call to tell him he left it, but I found lots of drug interactions, prescription painkillers and patches being bought and sold so I called my custody attorney and he told me to bring the phone to him, not give to police. Well the police came to my house and I told them I had already given to the attorney but got scared and called them back and said it was in my car, which my fiance took 100 miles away to work. The officer got really mad at me for lying. I tried to explain I was scared because I didn't mean to leave the phone in the car, I intended to give to my attorney immediately. So next morning my fiance comes home and I call my attorney again and ask him if I should give the phone to him or the police. He said bring to him so I did.
Fast forward a few days and I received theft charges in the mail. I'm a nurse and being convicted of theft would end my career. Please pray for me that God sees me through this obstacle like He has every other time, I simply did what my attorney told me to do. Please God remove this toxic trouble maker from me and my son's life for good. Please God let me have faith in you that everything will be OK and the judge will find me not guilty of theft. Thank you God amen.
