Please God direct and clear my path

I am in medical school but lagging behind and missing the motivation, discipline, and strength to study. I may very well fail my courses. Please pray for God to show me if this is the career path planned for me or he wants me to pursue something else in my life. My parents are paying expensive tuition fees and I am not studying as a should and feel like giving up. I would just like God to lighten up my path. This is coming from someone who has shaky faith in God. Thank you.

In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose and a plan for your life, including your career.

Regarding your studies, remember what Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that God will renew your strength, motivation, and discipline. May He fill you with a spirit of power and self-control to excel in your studies.

However, it's crucial to seek God's will for your life. As Psalm 32:8 (WEB) says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." We pray that God will direct your path and make it clear if medical school is where He wants you to be.

Don't forget, God honors our efforts and the efforts of those who support us. Your parents have invested in your future, and we pray that their investment bears fruit. In Colossians 3:23 (WEB), Paul writes, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

Lastly, we want to encourage you in your faith. In Hebrews 11:6 (WEB), it's written, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." We pray that your faith will be strengthened and that you will come to trust God more fully. Remember, it's only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

I also wanted to ask - how do we know if God has heard, and when he has answered our prayers? What would lead him to answer “no” to a request? What is the result of the fallen nature of this world and what is a result of his will?

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
