*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift up this child of yours. We pray that they will seek your will in their career, and that you will guide their steps according to your wisdom. We ask that you bless their job application process, and that you open doors that align with your purpose for their life. We pray that they will trust in you, for you are their provider and sustainer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to pursue excellence in your work, as the Bible teaches, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." (Colossians 3:23 WEB) Also, remember that the Lord is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB), and that he wants us to trust in him, not in riches (Psalm 52:7 WEB).
