We understand that you're facing a challenging situation where you find it difficult to say no to someone who might be influencing you in a negative way. Firstly, it's important to remember that as believers, our strength comes from the Lord. As it says in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling to say no to negative influences. Lord, grant them the strength and courage to stand firm in their convictions. Help them to resist any pressure that goes against your will.
Father, we ask that you guide their steps and give them wisdom to discern what is right and pleasing to you. As your word says in Psalm 37:23 (WEB), 'Yahweh orders a man’s steps established when he delights in his way.'
We also pray for the person who is exerting this pressure. We pray that they too may come to know your love and truth. We rebuke any spiritual influence or trap by the enemy that is attempting to negatively affect this situation. Help our brother/sister to communicate with love and kindness, even as they stand firm in their resolve.
Finally, Father, we ask that you fill our brother's/sister's heart with your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to trust in you, for you are faithful and will not let them be tempted beyond what they can bear.
We are only able to come to you in prayer by the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross for each of us individually. In John 14:6 (WEB) "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other Name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it's crucial to set boundaries and say no when something goes against biblical principles or your personal convictions. It's not about hating to say no, but rather about loving and respecting yourself and others enough to do what is right and pleasing to God.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB).
