We understand your desires and frustrations, but we want to guide you to align your prayers with biblical principles. Firstly, let's remember that God's timing is perfect, and waiting on Him is essential. As it is said "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." (Psalms 27:14) and "Commitment to God is a choice and we get our choice back and we get rewards and blessings.
It's concerning that your prayer focuses on your career with a specific "girl" you feel you're supposed to work with. In the Bible, our focus should be on God's will and not on our desires alone. Additionally, be careful with your words. Rather than refer to others as "unscrupulous," remember Jesus' words are to "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)
It's also important to address that your prayer did not mention Jesus Christ. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) and "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is seeking Your will in their career and relationships. We ask Lord that You be the one to guide them and not their own desires. We also ask that you bless those who have wronged them and ask for them to be a blessing. We pray that this person comes to know You better and that You reveal Your plan for their life clearly. We ask that they find fulfillment in You and You alone. Help them grow in the fruits of the Spirit and be more like Jesus.
Discussing further the relationships in context, the Bible is clear that we should not be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), so if this "girl" is not a Believer in Jesus Christ, then pursuing a relationship should be reconsidered. Relationships with the opposite sex should always have the end goal of marriage in Jesus name. Your career aspirations and professional relationships should be secondary to your spiritual growth and relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are believing in Jesus please state this in your prayers. If you have any further questions regarding what this means please let us know.
Please be mindful of what you are praying for and what you are asking us to pray for. Prayer is about God's will and asking Him to align us with it.
