In Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear brother/sister who is in need of a job offer. Lord, You know their skills, experiences, and needs. We ask that You open the right doors for them and grant them favor in the sight of potential employers. We also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this waiting period, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all their needs will be met according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to use this time to draw closer to Him. Ensure that you are also actively seeking employment while resting in God's sovereignty. Remember, too, that if you have not already, it is essential to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
Lastly, always be mindful of the words of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.
