Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Roshan Dsouza. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and grace as he acknowledges his struggle with drinking. We thank You for the progress he has made in drinking within his limits and not as he used to before.
Lord, Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand on this promise and ask for Your cleansing and strength for Roshan. Help him to continue to grow in self-control and to rely on Your strength, for Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness .
Guide him, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom and victory that You have provided through Jesus Christ. We pray for continued transformation and renewal of his mind, as stated in Romans 12:2, so that he may discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
