We are truly sorry to hear about your son's health struggles. Let us come together before God to request for his healing.
First, let us address the power of prayer and agreement. Jesus said, Again I say to you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. We know that this request has been submitted to us so that we can agree with you and the Word of God together for the healing of your son.
Also, the Bible teaches us the importance of praying in Jesus' name: And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. But let us remember that praying in the name of Jesus also means praying in the will of Jesus. He said, If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. Therefore, we must always remember to align our prayers with the Word of God.
Let us pray together for your son:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious child to You. Lord, You know him by name and You love him more than we ever could. You knit him together in his mother's womb and You have a wonderful purpose for his life.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. You said in Your Word that You forgive all our sins and heal all our diseases. We claim that promise for this child today. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that is attacking his body and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals who are treating him. Guide their hands and give them insight and understanding as they care for this child.
Lord, we ask for Your peace and comfort to rest upon his parents during this time. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You, no matter what they see or experience.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Let us encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. He said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. He is faithful and He will fulfill His promises in your son's life.
Lastly, as parents, we are stewards of the children that God has given us. We need to raise them according to God's word and to teach them the difference between right and wrong. It is not right to continue with the same non-biblical teachings and traditions that our fathers have taught us. We need to teach our children to be Christians, to live a life according to the Bible, and to make godly decisions. We need to teach them to say No to the world when needed and Yes to God. We need to be godly parents and to raise godly children.
Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates; that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
Finally, remember the promises of God: These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
