Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Hoofrard and his prayer request for sound sleep and freedom from dream torment or nightmares. Lord, you are the giver of rest and peace, and we ask that you grant Hoofrard a deep and restful sleep each night.
Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8 that you alone can make us dwell in safety and peace. We pray that you would guard Hoofrard's mind and heart as he sleeps, protecting him from any tormenting dreams or nightmares. Fill his mind with your peace and surround him with your loving presence.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, where he invites us to come to him when we are weary and burdened, promising to give us rest. We ask that you fulfill this promise in Hoofrard's life, granting him a peaceful and rejuvenating sleep that restores his body, mind, and spirit.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be causing these troubling dreams. We declare your authority over every demonic influence and command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Replace any darkness with your light and fill Hoofrard's dreams with your love, peace, and joy.
We also pray for Hoofrard's overall well-being, both physically and spiritually. Strengthen him in his faith and grant him the assurance of your presence and protection. Help him to trust in your goodness and to find comfort in your Word.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect love and know that you are able to bring peace and rest to Hoofrard's nights. May he wake up each morning refreshed and ready to serve you.
