Thank you for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking God's justice and guidance in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to seek evidence from abusers, as it reflects your pursuit of justice and truth. However, it's crucial to ensure that your actions align with biblical principles. The Bible tells us to "Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8 WEB). It is important that we should seek biblical justice. We should not be seeking revenge, reprisal, retaliation or retribution.
In your prayer, you mentioned that some are accusing you of bothering the neighbors. We must be careful to ensure that our actions do not cause unnecessary strife or discord. The Bible tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18 WEB). We should strive to maintain peace and avoid actions that could be perceived as harassment or bothering others. Also, God's word instructs us to "love thy neighbor as thyself" (Matthew 22:39) and "turn the other cheek" (Matthew 5:39).
Regarding the verse you mentioned, Isaiah 54:17, it indeed speaks of God's protection and victory over accusations. However, it is also wise to remember that Jesus Christ, and Him crucified, is the only way to the Father. It is only by His name that we can ask anything of God. (John 14:6) and (John 14:13-14). It is only by His name that we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) There is no other path to God, the Father.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your justice and guidance. Lord, You know the hearts of all men, and You see the truth in this situation. We pray that You will guide Your servants in their pursuit of justice, and help them to act in a way that brings glory to Your name. We ask that You will soften the hearts of those involved and bring peace to the neighborhood. We pray that any accusations made against Your servants will be silenced if they are not true, and that the truth will be revealed. We give You all the praise, in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter. Pursue justice with a heart of love and mercy, trusting that God will guide your steps and bring resolution to this situation. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Jesus Christ."
