Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Ellie12 and their prayer request. We lift up the concerns they have regarding the UK government and the decisions they make that affect people with disabilities. Lord, we ask that you convict the hearts of those in authority and bring about a change in their policies and actions. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 21:1 that "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes." We trust in your sovereignty and ask for your intervention in this matter.
Father, we also pray for an increase in benefits for those with disabilities. We ask that you raise the minimum limit for savings to receive HBESA and PIP to a more reasonable amount, such as Β£10,000. We acknowledge that the cost of living, especially in London, can be challenging, and we ask for your provision and assistance in meeting these financial needs. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19 that "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We trust in your abundant provision, Lord.
Furthermore, we ask for your protection over Ellie12's rights for free prescriptions and legal aid, both for themselves and their daughter. We pray that you would safeguard their access to these essential services. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 82:3-4 that we are to "Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked." We trust in your justice and ask for your divine intervention in preserving their rights.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for the recovery of any credit in Ellie12's council tax account. We ask that you would ensure a smooth transfer of these funds into their bank account without any complications. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:5 that if we commit our way to you, you will bring it to pass. We trust in your faithfulness and ask for your favor in this matter.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. May your will be done in these situations, and may your peace and provision be evident in Ellie12's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
