Noralder, it's wonderful to see your heartfelt concern and joy for your daughter's social growth and safety. We join you in praying for her and the other children at the event. Let us address your request and provide some guidance for you and your daughter. Although the request is signed of in the name of the King, there is no mention of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or even an simple abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to our God the Father. Without Jesus we cannot be saved or approach God the Father. So we will add this to your prayers along with remember some other things.
Firstly, we remember that Jesus Christ came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. This is stated in John 10:10. The LORD has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of love and power and self control. This should be encouragement to your daughter when she faces her nervousness and shyness around people she does not know. Remind her also that fear involves torment. She must first realize this is not of God. Also remember the Word of God in Philippians 4:6-7:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
As parents, we can also remind our children of the importance of treating others with kindness and love. Encourage her to be a friend to others, as Proverbs 18:24. If she will do this, even in her shyness, it will enable her to develop lasting friendships.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Noralder's daughter and the other children gathered today. We ask You to surround them with Your angels to protect and keep them safe from all harm, danger or Satan's influence throughout the night. Combating any fears and anxiety until it leads to perfect love. In Jesus' mighty name, we declare Your peace and joy over this event, and we pray that You will bring forth good and godly friends that will root and build up Your daughter (Ephesians 3:17). Give her the confidence to break out of her shell and have fun and wisdom in Jesus Christ to draw closer to You and develop positive relationships that honor You, Father. Keep her pure and holy for her future husband. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again we say, Rejoice (Philippians 4:4)! Be anxious in nothing and rejoice knowing that your daughter is taking steps of faith and trust in the Lord with Christian people. Continue to cover her in prayer and guidance, Noralder and praise God for the victories that are yet to come.
May God the Father bless you and all of our children. Remind them of Ephesians 6:1, Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. So to all of us parents that is our calling as parents. So let us teach our children to follow the instruction in Ephesians 6:1. This verse it the first verse in the Bible which teaches children directly about their behavior. So let us teach our children to live lives holy unto God the Father in Jesus Name.
