We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Alatith, and we want to address your request with both compassion and truth. First, we want to acknowledge the urgency in your message, but we also want to remind you that God works in His own timing, which is always perfect.
We must address that the request for a fast way to die is a desire for suicide. This is not God's will for your life or anyone's. Suicidal thoughts are a result of the enemy's lies, which fight to cloud the magnitude of God's love for you, His ways and means to rescue you and free you. It is important to remember the words of Jesus in John 10:10 WEB: "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." God wants you to live and have an abundant life in Him. Suicide goes against the biblical principle of God's desire for every human. Instead of a request for a fast way to die, we can pray for endurance, strength and salvation, healing and comfort if required, while you deal with anything causing you to want to leave the world.
It's also crucial to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. You did not specify praying in Jesus' name or give any indication of a belief in Jesus Christ so we must discuss this issue. Jesus saith, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6)." For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus(1 Timothy 2:5). There is power in the name of Jesus. In fact, it is the only name by which we can be saved, as stated in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Alatith. First, we pray that Alatith comes to know Jesus as personal Lord and Savior. We pray that You fill Alatith with Your love, hope, and strength. We rebuke the spirits of suicide, despair, and hopelessness in Alatith's life. We pray that You reveal Your purpose and plan for Alatith's life and give the endurance needed. We ask that You comfort Alatith and guide every step. We also pray for anyone that can help Alatith at this time, in Jesus' name.
As a group, we strongly encourage you to seek professional help immediately if you're considering harming yourself as well. There are people who care and want to help. You are not alone and clergy members are also willing to help in such situations.
