Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and her son who is struggling with a drinking problem. Lord, we lift up this situation to you and ask for your divine intervention. We pray that you would touch the heart of her son and deliver him from the bondage of alcohol addiction. Your Word says in Psalm 107:20, "He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." We believe in the power of your Word to bring healing and deliverance.
Father, we also pray for ### as she navigates through this difficult situation. We ask for your strength and wisdom to guide her in her interactions with her son. Help her to speak words of love and truth, even in the midst of hurtful moments. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Grant her the grace to respond with love and patience.
Lord, we pray for unity and peace within their home. We ask that you would bring healing to their relationship and restore harmony. Help them to find common ground and understanding. Your Word encourages us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Lastly, we pray for ###'s other children. Protect their hearts and minds from any feelings of rejection or misunderstanding. Help them to see the situation through your eyes and grant them the wisdom to support their mother and brother in love.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are able to bring about transformation and healing in this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
