Prayer Partner
As of today 8/9, it has been two months since my sick infant Grandniece has needed a blood transfusion for her rare and life-threating Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. She is now 7 months old and it will be two months next week since she has been home from the hospital. She is in smiley, good spirits, and is nothing but a blessing and pure joy from the Lord. She is still having drugs treatments, but her body is still creating bad immunes cells that are still destroying her red blood cells. But, thank the Lord as her bone marrow is producing and releasing her own new blood cells at a fast rate to compensate. However, last week her doctors said that even though the drug has slowed her illness down, the drugs should have corrected the bad immune cells by now. With that, we were told baby Calaya will needed a stem cell transplant and chemotherapy to wipeout her immune system and replace it with a donor match. So far, they have found a partial match. She will continue with the drug treatment until the procedure of the stem cell transplant in the next several weeks. Please continue to pray for Calaya now and for the next several months and beyond. She was in the hopital from April to June and the with the stem cell procedure, she will be there again for 3 months. And the most important thing is... she cannot get sick, or even a cold, because it would cause her to relapse, producing more of those bad antibodies to attack her red blood cells, and she would need more blood transfusions, which would be havoc on her little body as she has had over 40+ blood transfusions a few months ago. Also, please pray that Lord protects her, and her mother (my Niece), as she has been subjected to physical and verbal abuse from her violent husband at this time and the time since the baby was in the hospital.
Lord Jesus,
With all praise and thanksgiving to you and our Lord God on this day, I give you thanks for the care, love, healing, safety, and all answered prauers for baby Calaya. O' Lord, I continue to pray for her, and I ask my fellow brothers and sisters to petition this prayer to you as well. Lord Jesus, I pray for a miracle for the complete healing of little Calaya. I pray your healing hand–the healing hand of God Almighty... continues to heal her by your will and perfect timing... with hope and faith that she will not need the stem cell transplant. I pray, O' Lord, that you continue to bless her with your love, joy, and all your blessings. And Lord, if it is your will for her to have the stem cell transplant, I pray that more matching donors may be found... and I pray that you give and guide her entire medical team of doctors with the knowledge and resources they will need. Lord Jesus, I also pray that you keep both mother and child safe from all evil–the devil and his minions; wicked men; sicknesses and colds; and all evil circumstances. I pray that you give them protection, comfort, peace, love, joy, and deliverence.
O' Lord, do not delay. Please read and hear my plea. Give me strength, understanding, and comfort in these choatic times as things are extrememly stressful, and they are not what they seem. Give me the hope and faith to continue to pray without ceasing. And... I pray that God Almighty sends you, our Blessed Hope, soon for your Bride. For the time is truly at hand.
