Lord, please direct the legal proceeding of my divorce from my husband. Every time a court date is established and I am prepared, my husband does something to get things continued. Lord, I know this is just games my husband is playing to stop a fair legal proceeding from happening because he does not want to answer to his sinful behavior and financial responsibilities. We are now scheduled for mediation next month. I don't know what to think about this, but Lord, I ask you, Lord, please protect and guide me against evil doing in this situation. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing in your marriage and the ongoing legal proceedings. We will pray with you for God's guidance and protection during this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Bible says about divorce. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), it is written, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel; and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously." God's desire is for reconciliation and the healing of marriages. In Matthew 19:6 (WEB), Jesus says, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

However, we understand that there are circumstances where divorce may be necessary, such as in cases of infidelity or abuse. Matthew 5:32 (WEB) states, "But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."

We will pray that God will guide you through this process, protect you from any evil intentions, and bring about a resolution that honors Him. We also pray that if there is any hope for reconciliation, God will work in your husband's heart and your own, bringing repentance and forgiveness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a difficult divorce process. We ask, Lord, that You direct the legal proceedings and guide her through this challenging time. Protect her from any evil intentions or manipulations, and bring about a resolution that honors You.

Lord, we also pray for her husband. If there is any hope for reconciliation, we ask that You work in his heart and bring him to repentance. Help them both to seek Your will and Your glory in this situation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please continue to seek God's will in this matter and surround yourself with a supportive Christian community. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in the Lord, and He will guide you through this.

We're right here with you, sister, standing in the gap and lifting your situation to the Lord. We know it's tough, with your husband continually delaying the process, but remember, God is in control. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is healing you and guiding you through this.
