Please continue to pray for my husband to drop the annulment / divorce

Dear Heavenly Father, You know I'm hurting and wounded. I ask that my husband will repent and return back to you and so he will return back to me. Lord, I ask for the annulment / divorce case to be dropped before the deadline on Dec 27. May God open Todd's spiritual ears and eyes and he will obey to your command about staying in marriage. Please give him a heart that to love and miss me, so he will contact me when he blocked me and not want to communicate anymore. I drove 9 hours from NJ to NC and took a whole week no paid leave and I lost more than 1000 for that to see him. I'm alone in my own house in NC and he's not willing to communicate and respond. Lord, please soften. his heart and he feels the urge to contact me and see me. Lord, please show him the truth that I'm not the person like he accused me in the divorce paper. I pray to God that the judge will deny the annulment and we keep the marriage. And so we could work on what God wants the marriage is. Please show me your plan Lord and show me the truth of him. Lord, as he practiced sex with multiple partners in between his 4-year ago divorce and started to date me, I convict him to do the same right now while he gave up me. Please show him Your will that he shall not divorce his wife and it's a violence. Lord, please intervene our marriage as you joined it as a covenant. Please change him to think this marriage is serious to God and he needs to keep it as a lifelong commitment. Please Lord tell his pastor, mom and sis not to encourage divorce and only give him godly advice. In Jesus Name Amen

We are truly grieved to hear about the trials you are facing in your marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, asking for God's intervention and guidance during this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith and trust in God, as you acknowledged that it is only in Jesus' name that we can approach God and that He is the one who can bring restoration and reconciliation. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We also want to address the seriousness of the situation. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God, as outlined in the Bible. In Mark 10:9 WEB, Jesus says, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Therefore, we will pray for your husband, Todd, to recognize the sanctity of your marriage and the commitment he made before God.

However, we must also rebuke the sin of fornication that was mentioned. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB, it is clearly stated: "Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom." We pray that Todd will repent from his past sins and turn away from any current temptations, seeking God's forgiveness and strength to live a life of purity.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ, momowei, and her husband, Todd. Lord, we ask that You soften Todd's heart and open his spiritual eyes and ears to hear Your voice and obey Your commands. Help him to recognize the sanctity of his marriage covenant and turn away from any thoughts of divorce or annulment.

Lord, we pray that You will reveal the truth to Todd, showing him that momowei is not the person he has accused her of being. We ask that You will give him a heart that longs to love, miss, and communicate with his wife, and that he will be compelled to contact her and work on their marriage.

Lord, we also pray for Todd's pastor, mother, and sister, asking that they will speak godly advice into his life and discourage any thoughts of divorce. Help them to support Todd and momowei as they work on their marriage and seek Your will for their lives.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You will intervene in this situation, working a miracle in their marriage and bringing healing and restoration. Show momowei Your plan for her life and reveal the truth about her husband to her. Help her to trust in You and follow Your guidance as she navigates this challenging time.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you (Joshua 20:9WEB). Continue to seek God's will, trust in Him, allow Him to direct your path and walk in His ways. Push into God more for understanding of your situation, asking Him to reveal promises in the scriptures that He has given for you and Todd. We trust in Jesus and pray that He will seek to save what is lost and restore what is damaged and wounded.

We're here with you, momowei, standing in the gap and lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We've been praying for you and Todd, and we want to share a few more things on our hearts.

Firstly, we're reminded of 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, "To the married I give this command (though I haven't been commanded by the Lord), yet I'm offering my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy. In light of the current distress, it seems to me good—not a command from the Lord—for a man to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek a divorce. Are you unmarried? Do not seek a wife." We encourage you, Todd, to consider this advice, especially in light of the upcoming deadline.

We also want to encourage you, momowei, to keep seeking God's face. In Joel 2:13, we're told, "Tear your hearts, not your clothes, and return to the Lord your God. For he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in faithful love." Trust that God sees your pain and is moved by your tears. He is faithful and will not abandon you.

Let's continue to pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You again, lifting up momowei and Todd. Lord, we ask that You would give Todd a heart to truly love and cherish momowei, as Christ loves the church. Help him to see the beauty and strength in her, and to want to be the husband You've called him to be. We pray for a change of heart, a softening, and a turning away from any bitterness or resentment. Help him to see the error of his ways and to repent, turning back to You and to momowei.

Lord, we also pray for a miracle in their marriage. We ask that You would intervene, healing the wounds and restoring what has been broken. We trust in Your power and Your love for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, momowei. God is with you, and He is fighting for your marriage. Trust in Him, and let's continue to pray together.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You in intercession for this wife who is deeply hurting and seeking Your divine intervention in her marriage. Lord, You see her broken heart and unwavering commitment to the covenant You established between her and her husband, Todd. Your Word reminds us that “What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate” (Matthew 19:6). We ask, Father, that You would move powerfully to restore this marriage according to Your will.


Lord, we pray for Todd’s heart to be softened. Open his spiritual eyes and ears to Your truth. Convict him, Lord, of the sacredness of the marriage covenant and draw him back to You, so that he may also return to his wife. Your Word declares, “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart” (Jeremiah 24:7). May this be true for Todd, that he turns to You wholeheartedly and seeks to honor the vows he made before You.


Father, we ask that You remove any ungodly influences in Todd’s life—be it people or behaviors—that are encouraging division. Instead, surround him with wise, godly counsel that points him toward reconciliation and obedience to Your commands. Your Word says, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take, or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord” (Psalm 1:1-2). May Todd delight in Your law and reject any path leading to separation.


Lord, we pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon Todd, and that he would come to understand the weight of the decisions he is making. Replace his anger or misunderstanding with love, compassion, and a desire for restoration. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Be close to both Todd and his wife in this time, Lord, and mend their brokenness.


Father, we ask for favor in the annulment or divorce proceedings. Let Your will be done, and if it is Your purpose for this marriage to continue, we pray that the case will be dropped before the deadline. Your Word says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases” (Proverbs 21:1). We trust You to guide the hearts of the judge, lawyers, and all involved in this matter.


Lord, bring healing and comfort to this wife who has sacrificed so much in the hopes of reconciliation. Give her strength, peace, and clarity as she waits upon You. Remind her of Your promise: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me” (Psalm 28:7). Let her feel Your presence and know she is not alone, even in this difficult season.


Finally, Lord, we pray that Todd would come to see the truth of his actions and seek forgiveness, both from You and from his wife. Teach him to walk in purity and honor, forsaking all sin and temptation. Your Word commands us to “Flee from sexual immorality” (1 Corinthians 6:18), and we ask that Todd would obey this command and turn away from any destructive patterns in his life.


Father, restore this marriage to reflect Your glory and Your purpose. We know that You are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May this couple’s reconciliation be a testimony to Your faithfulness and power.
