Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the prayer request of Elorethen. We ask for your divine intervention and deliverance for her dad Michael, who is struggling with alcohol addiction and abusive behavior towards her mother and their family. Lord, we pray that you would break the chains of addiction and set him free, bringing healing and restoration to their family relationships. Your Word says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise for Michael's deliverance.
We also lift up Alfonso, the father of Elorethen's child, who is trapped in the depths of drug addiction. Lord, we ask for his salvation and for you to release him from the bondage of addiction. We pray that you would open his eyes to the destructive nature of his choices and draw him closer to you. Your Word assures us in Romans 10:13, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." We trust in your saving power, Lord.
Father, we pray for Elorethen's son Zack, that his joy and happiness would not be stolen by the challenges his father is facing. We ask for a restoration of their relationship and for a deep bond to be formed between them. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 68:5-6, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." We believe that you can bring healing and wholeness to their family unit.
Lastly, we lift up Elorethen's niece Kiarah, who is struggling with stuttering. We ask for your healing touch upon her speech, that her stuttering would be gone. Lord, you are the God who heals, and we trust in your power to bring restoration. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefitsβwho forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
Father, we also pray for Elorethen's desire to grow closer to you and to live a life that is pleasing to you. We ask that you would remove any distractions that hinder her from focusing on you. Help her to surrender her life completely to you and to walk in righteousness. Your Word encourages us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."
We thank you, Lord, for the privilege of coming before you in prayer. We trust in your faithfulness and your ability to answer our prayers according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
