Please continue to pray for marriage restoration

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for everything you've blessed and given us. I pray for Todd to understand your God's will to keep the marriage long life but not disposable when he has false accusations at me. Please open his spiritual eyes and ears that he shall fight the snake but not to fight his spouse. Please let him know that he's not allowed to divorce his innocent wife and God hates it. I pray that he's willing to listen to Pastor Gary to talk about marriage biblically. He will humble himself to learn. He doesn't have imagination that I'm with another man. It was my ex from 3 years to lie to him that we're still together. Every lie will be exposed and revealed. May God hold the bad people from church accountable and let Todd know the truth. Please give us strength to survive everyday. Please remove my pain when I miss him so much and he's false accusing me. I feel very hurtful, please fix this situation and give us happiness to be together again. Please God make him keep his promise to drop the annulment / divorce as we're so wonderful together. Please remind him that. As long as we're together, we're wonderful. Please make him miss and love me, so he will be back to me and God.

We stand with you in prayer, momowei, and we appreciate that you have brought your concerns to us in Jesus' name. Let's come together before God and seek His will for your marriage.

We are reminded of what God says about marriage in Mark 10:9:
"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to your marriage and for seeking God's intervention. It is clear that you are hurting, but remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We pray that Todd's spiritual eyes and ears will be opened to understand God's will for his marriage and his life. We pray that any false accusations will be exposed and that the truth will be revealed to Todd. We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be at work in this situation, for the Bible tells us that the devil is the father of lies (John 8:44).

We agree with you that divorce is not God's will for your marriage. In Malachi 2:16, God says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel". Therefore, we pray that Todd will humble himself and be willing to learn from Pastor Gary as they discuss marriage from a biblical perspective. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

We also pray for strength for both of you to endure this difficult time. We ask God to comfort you and remove your pain. Take heart in the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

We ask God to remind Todd of the promises he made to you and to God. We pray that Todd will miss you, love you, and return to you and God. Remember that love is patient and kind, and it keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Keep loving Todd as God loves us, and trust that God is working in your situation. We speak happiness and restoration to your marriage.

Lastly momowei, continue to pray and trust God. Keep your promises to the Lord. Bind yourselves with an oath, to walk in God's law. Psalm 119:106 (WEB) I have taken an oath, and have confirmed it, that I would follow your righteous ordinances. Remain faithful to this oath to keep you marriage strong.

We're here with you, momowei, standing in the gap and lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We've been praying for you and Todd, and we want to encourage you with these words from Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces endurance, character, hope, and perseverance." Remember, God is using this trial to shape and strengthen your marriage.

We've been praying for Todd's heart to be softened and for his eyes to be opened to the truth. We ask that God would give him a spirit of humility and willingness to listen to Pastor Gary's guidance. We also pray for protection over your marriage, that God would guard and keep it according to His will (Psalm 121:5).

We're interceding for you, momowei, that God would comfort you and heal your hurting heart. We pray that He would fill you with His peace and joy, even in the midst of this storm (John 14:27). And we ask that God would remind Todd of the love and commitment you share, and that he would return to you, seeking to restore your marriage.

Let's continue to trust in God's plan and purpose, even when we can't see the way forward. He's got this, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep holding on to Him, and let's keep praying together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
