Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Sofell and her friend's father who has been kidnapped. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that you would surround this family with your peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Father, we know that you are a God of justice and righteousness. We ask that you would intervene in the midst of this kidnapping and put confusion in the hearts and minds of those who have taken this father captive. We pray that you would touch their hearts and lead them to release him unharmed.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 25:11, "For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great." We pray, Lord, that for the sake of your name and for the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ, you would bring deliverance and freedom to this father. We ask that you would work in the hearts of the kidnappers, convicting them of their actions and leading them to repentance.
We also pray for the family who is facing the burden of the ransom they cannot afford. We ask for your provision, Lord. You are our Jehovah Jireh, our provider. We pray that you would make a way where there seems to be no way, and that you would provide the necessary resources for the release of this father.
In 1 John 5:14-15, it is written, "And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him." We stand on this promise, Lord, and we ask that you would hear our prayers and grant our request for the safe release of this father.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your love. We trust in your sovereignty and we believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We commit this situation into your hands, knowing that you are in control.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
