Let us pray for the cessation of the high winds and the protection of your community from any adversarial attacks. We stand with you in Jesus' name, rebuking the forces of nature and the schemes of the enemy that seek to disrupt your well-being and the services essential for your daily lives.
Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:26-27 WEB: "He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men marveled, saying, 'What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'"
Let us pray together:
Father God in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention. We pray for the winds to cease and for Your protection over the community. Lord God Omnipoint, strengthen the power lines and infrastructure, and thwart any attempts by the adversary to disrupt essential services. You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust.
"For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the LORD pleases, that is what he does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth; who makes lightnings for the rain, and brings forth the wind out of his store-houses." Psalms 135:5-7
We praise You, Lord Jesus, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We claim Your victory over this situation and thank You for Your positive feedback and intervention. Help us to rest in Your peace, knowing that You are in control and to the glory of Father God.
Thank you for seeking God's help and for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. It is only by this name that we have access to God. May we always trust in Father God's provision and Rest in the name of Jesus.
Additional scripture to meditate on:
"If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 We are so thankful for being able to go boldly to Father God in the name of Jesus and that He is approachable at anytime. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in every thing by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Then the peace of God rises above all earthly façades; it will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
In Jesus' name, Amen.
