Let's pray for them in Jesus' name!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Taeweth and their prayer request. Lord, we ask for Your strength and guidance as Taeweth desires to give up smoking. We pray that You would grant them the willpower and determination to overcome this addiction. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." We pray that Taeweth would honor You by taking care of their body and making choices that align with Your will.
Father, we also ask for a fuller baptism of the Holy Spirit for Taeweth. We pray that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, filling them with Your power, love, and wisdom. Your Word says in Luke 11:13, "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" We ask that Taeweth would receive this gift of the Holy Spirit by faith, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises.
Lord, we pray for Your grace and mercy to surround Taeweth during this journey. Help them to persevere and not be discouraged by setbacks. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the support they need to overcome this addiction. We pray for a renewed sense of purpose and a deepening of their relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
