We understand that you're seeking connection and reciprocation from a friend whom you have developed feelings for. However, we want to address this situation with cared for guidance and biblical principles.
Firstly, we must address the fact that spending the night together outside of marriage is considered fornication according to biblical standards. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.") and to keep the marriage bed pure (Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.")
We encourage you to repent and turn away from this sin, as God's will is for us to be holy and pure. Remember, God forgives when we come to Him with a repentant heart (1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.").
Regarding your feelings, it's natural to seek companionship, but it's crucial to align our desires with God's will. We pray that God will guide your heart and mind as you navigate this situation.
