We understand your heart's cry, Sembold, and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage and family.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your family and your pain. He says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
However, we must also remember that God desires willing hearts. He says in Hosea 3:3, "You shall live with me many days; you shall not be a prostitute, and you shall not be with any other man; and I will also be with you." This verse reminds us that God wants us to be fully committed to Him and to our spouses.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Sembold and her family to You. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would work in Arthur's heart and draw him back to his family. We pray that You would heal any brokenness, forgive any sins, and restore their marriage. We ask that You would guide them both to seek Your will and Your heart for their family. We pray all these things in Jesus' name, amen.
Sembold, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. He is faithful and loves you deeply. Also, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Keep holding on to this promise.
Lastly, we gently remind you that prayer should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as Jesus taught us in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." If you haven't already, we encourage you to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God the Father and eternal salvation.
