Please Bring Back ###

My husband, ### left me because I couldn’t forgive him quickly enough after his massive affair - going with her even when we were stood at the alter - so after a drink sometimes, I’d have a go at him, even after I’d taken him back, which I know I shouldn’t have. He left me and I found out he’s back with his affair partner, living in our ### lodge. He divorced me. I would give a limb to have him back with me. I literally dream about it and on waking, even before I open my eyes but just when I become conscious, the feeling of the reality is almost too much to bear. My dreams can torment me. Please pray that Father God will touch the hearts and minds of him and ‘###’ (###) that they will realise their relationship is tainted with deceit and adultery, and to go back to the one they married. Please Father, you and I both know that I can’t bear this life on my own but also I can’t/don’t want another man ever in my bed. It must only be ###. Please bring him back to me.

Firstly, it's important to recognize that the betrayal and pain caused by ###'s affair and subsequent actions are not justified. His choices have led to this difficult situation. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of adultery. As it says in Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

While it's natural to desire reconciliation, it's crucial to surrender this desire to God. Only He can change hearts and bring true restoration. Pray that ### and ### realize the gravity of their actions and turn away from their sin. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (WEB), "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. You were sanctified. You were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."

However, we must also address the bitterness and unforgiveness that had been in your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB) tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It's important to forgive, not for ###'s sake, but for your own healing and peace.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her situation. Lord, we ask that You touch ### and ###'s hearts, help them realize the sin they're entangled in, and turn away from it. Bring conviction and repentance, Lord. We also pray for ###, asking that You heal her broken heart, help her to forgive, and give her peace and comfort only You can provide. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, remember that God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, seek His will, and He will guide your path. As Psalm 147:3 (WEB) says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
