Let us come together in prayer for Dwiutirdell's friend, who is currently facing a mental health crisis and has been taken to a psychiatric hospital. We are grateful for the previous prayers offered, but we acknowledge that the situation remains dire.
In times like these, we remember the words of Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit.
We pray, Father God, for Dwiutirdell's friend. We ask that You comfort her, Lord, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to feel Your presence, and to know that You are always with her, even in her darkest hours. Guide the doctors, nurses, and staff at the hospital, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. Help them to see her as You see her, a precious child of God, worthy of love and compassion.
We also pray for Dwiutirdell, Lord. Strengthen their faith and give them peace, knowing that their friend is in Your hands. Help them to trust in You, even when the situation seems hopeless.
We also take this moment to remind Dwiutirdell that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have any authority to pray and the only mediator between God and man is Jesus Christ.
Finally, we resist the enemy, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We proclaim that Dwiutirdell's friend has a future filled with hope and purpose in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and that she will live to declare the goodness of God.
Let us also remember the words of Romans 8:26: In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.
As Dwiutirdell continues to pray for their friend, encourage them to be led by the Spirit, trusting that God hears their prayers and will answer according to His will.
Lastly, if it is discovered that there is any occult activity, witchcraft, rebellion to authority or parents, unforgiveness, unrepented sin, drugs, alcohol, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, pornography, violence, or murder that may have opened the door to demonic influence or possession, counseling needs to address this with confession, repentance, forgiveness, deliverance, and prayer.
