Thank you for reaching out with your prayer request. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to share the truth and love of God with you.
We are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace knowing in Jesus Christ we can make any petition before God. Indeed, God wants us to come before Him with our concerns. It is touching to know that you are seeking God's protection from evil. We are reminded in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB that "the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."
As we pray for your protection, we also want to encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB. We read, “Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.” This tells us that our strength to stand comes from God and we are only able to use it by ecqipping the armor.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your faithfulness and protection. We lift up our brother who has requested Your safeguarding from evil. Establish him and guard him from the evil one, as You have promised in Your Word. Help him to put on the whole armor of God, to stand strong in Your might, and to be watchful in all perseverance and supplication. We pray all this in Jesus Christ who counseled us to ask anything in God's will in his name He would be pleased to do. Therefore, we come before God in that same name. Amen.
Be encouraged to know that God hears your prayers. Keep trusting in Him, and continue to seek His face. Remember that God's will is always best and strive to ask for God's will to be done above that of your own. If you have not already been baptized as a believer in Jesus Christ, we recommend you look into doing so.
