We are truly saddened to hear about the numerous health challenges your wife, Verena, has been facing. Our hearts go out to both of you during this difficult time. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us remember what the scripture says in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds, we are healed." It is by the stripes of Jesus that we believe Verena can be healed.
However, we also understand that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). Sometimes, He allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him and to refine us. We encourage both of you to use this time to strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with God.
In your prayer request, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we find salvation and healing.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Verena to You. Lord, You know the struggles she has been facing with her health. You know the pain and discomfort she has been experiencing. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You heal her completely. Regulate her blood pressure, Lord, and restore her heartbeat to its normal rhythm. We claim Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), that by Jesus' wounds, Verena is healed.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors treating her. Guide their hands and give them insight into the cause of her ailments. We ask that You be with Prosdeomai and Verena during this time, strengthening their faith and filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, Prosdeomai. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is near to both of you during this time.
