In Leviticus 19:31 (WEB), it is written, "Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God."

We should not seek or endorse such practices, as they can lead us away from God's path. Instead, we should trust in God alone for guidance and wisdom. As it is written in Isaiah 8:19 (WEB), "When they tell you, 'Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter:' shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?"

Let us pray for your community and for those planning to attend this event, that they may be drawn closer to God and seek His will above all else. We pray that this event may be prevented from happening, not merely for the sake of cancellation, but for the spiritual well-being of all involved. We pray that those who seek answers would turn to Jesus Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6, WEB).

Dear Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your intervention in this situation. We pray that You would change the hearts of those who are organizing and planning to attend this event, that they may turn away from practices that do not honor You. Help them to seek Your will and guidance above all else. We ask that You protect the community from any negative influences and draw them closer to You.
