We understand that you're struggling with a phobia of traveling by plane, Lucrecia, and we want you to know that God cares about every detail of your life, including your fears. First, we want to encourage you to take comfort in the words of Psalm 56:3-4 WEB: "What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?"
Fear is a natural human emotion, but God does not want us to be controlled by it. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, we read: "For God didnt give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." This means that God has equipped you with the power to overcome this phobia through His strength and love.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Lucrecia. Lord, You know the fears that have kept her from traveling by plane for over thirty years. We ask that You would grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help her to trust in You completely and remind her that You are always her steadfast anchor of hope. As she takes the very first step courageously towards the plane, help her to feel your supernatural hand of strength overpowering her fears.
Lucrecia, as you prepare to face this fear, meditate on God's Word and His promises. Remember that He is always with you, even in the air Psalm 139:7-10 WEB.
Lastly, remember Isaiah 41:10 WEB:
"Dont be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
